How was this season?
In the first part of the season, the team made a brewing phase, which ended in 2 victories for 2 defeats. During the second phase at the regional level, young Saint-Joryens are opposed in particular to Pibrac, Isle-Jourdain, Ossun, Ouest-Toulousain. One day from the end, the team is ranked 4th with 7 wins for 6 defeats. For the record, last Saturday, the young Saint-Joryens bowed at home against the West-Toulousain
-A word on this team?
They are pleasant boys, friendly to coach. Thank you to them for their investment throughout the season.
During their last championship match, the Seniors 1 of the Saint-Jory Basket bowed at home against Verfeil on the score from 66 to 62. On Saturday, the Saint-Joryens travel to Castelsarrasin/Moissac, with the firm intention of imposing themselves for their last match outside the season.
XIII Rugby Armchair: a spectacular semi-final
The semi-final between last Sunday in Toulouse the Sto XIII/Saint-Jory and the Perpignan team will remain in the memories as a real offensive festival and a fine example of sportiness. On the field, the two teams offered an intense spectacle, punctuated by numerous tests and a flawless determination. The start of the match was particularly impressive on the Toulouse side: Sto XIII/Saint-Jory led the meeting during the first 35 minutes, putting a big pressure on the Catalans. But some errors, at key moments, unfortunately cost Toulouse dearly, allowing Perpignan to overthrow the situation before the break.
Despite good resistance, it was therefore the Catalans of Perpignan, title holders for several seasons, who won the score of 76 to 50. A logical victory for an experienced team, but also a very encouraging match for the Sto XIII/Saint-Jory, whose progress is remarkable this season.
Perpignan therefore qualifies for the final with Ambition, while the Sto XIII/Saint-Jory leaves competition with honors and beautiful promises for the future. It is also necessary to salute the qualification of team 2 of the Sto XIII/Saint-Jory, which brilliantly reached the final of the national division in Saint-Juéry on June 7.
