Jean-Aimé Toupane summoned the two future ex-Tarbaises to prepare the Eurobasket (June 18-29, in Greece) in an extended list of 25 players.
“Although the preparation time for Euro 2025 is shorter, we decided to announce an extended group of 25 players for the first rally in Reims,” said the Federation’s statement, the coach of the French women’s team Jean-Aimé Toupane. To prepare the Eurobasket, which will be held in Greece from June 18 to 29, the coach chose a group of 25 players in which the two future ex-Tarbaises are: Camille Droguet and Jess-Minz Zodia. All the Olympic medalists available are in this preselection, led by captain Valérian Ayayi.
For the captain and the interior of the TGB, these summons prove once again that Jean-Aimé Toupane keeps an attentive eye on their situations, several months after having honored their first selections in an international window last November.
Also appear in these lists three players who played with the purple jersey last season: the leader Carla Leite, the winger Marie-Paule Fopossi and the interior Dominique Malonga, just drafted in second position in WNBA by the Seattle Storm.
