Michelle Gisin will now focus on the giant and speed disciplines. The Obwalden will compete this Tuesday in the 103rd and final slalom of her World Cup career.
‘It’s been more than twelve incredible years in the Slalom World Cup, and I’ve given it my all,’ the skier said in a video posted on the Swiss-Ski Instagram channel. Michelle Gisin ran her first slalom at this level in December 2012 in Semmering.
She has been on the podium nine times, with only one success in 2020 at… Semmering! Last winter, she achieved nine top 10 finishes in eleven races, finishing fourth in the specialty standings. But this season, a 19th place at Killington is his best result.
