The sixth edition of the Autumn Photography Show, organized by the Garonne et Canal visual arts association, has gone red. A great event in Montech (Tarn-et-Garonne).
Opened this Saturday, more than 100 guests were able to wander the aisles of this “Autour du rouge” show, the theme proposed by the association for this 2024 edition.
The opening of the show took place this Saturday, late in the morning, in the presence of artists, families, friends, elected officials from Montéchois around their mayor, Jacques Moignard, Isabelle Laveron, regional councilor representing Carole Delga, Dominique Sardeing, vice-president of the departmental council representing Michel Weill, Anne Ius, departmental councilor, president of Tarn-et-Garonne Tourisme, and many mayors or deputies from neighboring municipalities.
Nearly 150 photos of artists from Montélimar, Montauban and Blagnac were presented in a room where the works were very well highlighted by the organizers thanks to superb scenography.

In her speech, the president, Michèle Bolhy, wanted to thank all the participants in this opening, the photographers who presented their works, as well as the members and supporters who helped to set up this exhibition, without forgetting Monique Marcadal, vice-president and photographer, who was very involved in this organization.
Her thanks also went to the partners of this important event, both for the association and for the city of Montech. She thanked Mayor Jacques Moignard and all the partners for their help and support, not only for this autumn show, but also for other events organized by the association, as well as the Jardin du Tembourel for the embellishment of the entrance to the hall. The president emphasized that the photographers had really played the game for the chosen theme and thanked them warmly.
The mayor, Jacques Moignard, also a photographer and exhibitor of his works, congratulated all the artists and organizers of this magnificent exhibition, given the particular theme “Around red”.
Dominique Sardeing congratulated the association for its various organizations and all the photographer artists present.
All the photographers really appreciated the proposed theme and respected it very well, which makes the show very homogeneous.
Finally, the president thanked the guest of honor, Jérôme Antoine from Montéchois, who presented his works, 15 superb photos, each more surprising than the last.
