The Jean-Jaurès high school welcomed Tarn photographer Emmanuel Bordarier to talk about his exhibition “All Sports” in conjunction with the Department.

Students from the GA (management and administration) and ASSP (care and personal services support) classes were able to admire the works of this artist supervised by the librarian teachers Sylvia Chardonneau and Catherine Gomez, Maureen Martin PE teacher and the teacher of ASSP.

On the subject of women’s awareness in society, the photographer explained his work by emphasizing the journey of these women through the intensity of their activities, their commitments and their surpassing themselves.

“My exhibition concerns high-level sport as well as adapted sport or disabled sport, without distinction of age,” emphasized Emmanuel Bordarier. Through this work, I became aware of the place of women in society. And it made me think, change my outlook on the world of sport. A woman can commit as much if it’s more than a man. »

Students were very curious to understand, asking in particular what was the photographer’s favorite photo?

“All my photos have a story. However, I have an undeniable attachment to boxer Maïva Hamadouche, IBF super featherweight world champion. She is a police officer and trains very hard after work against menacing guys. »

Talking photos for the students who appreciated that of Eliane Baumelle, a lady of a certain age who practices judo, or that of Melody Julien, half-marathoner of cross country, who displays on her face her will to win. And all the high school students conclude: “Concentration, intensity, courage, desire, fun, solidarity, are the reflection of this very beautiful exhibition, touching and sensitive in the image of its author. »
