David Hallyday on his sisters Jade and Joy: “I will still be there the day they want”

Almost seven years ago, Johnny Hallyday left us. Today, his son, David Hallyday is releasing a new album called “Requiem for a fool”. As a tribute to his father, Sylvie Vartan’s son covers all his greatest hits.

After the death of Johnny, the Hallyday clan was torn apart because of a story of inheritance. For good reason, the rocker had in his will disinherited his two eldest children, David and Laura in favor of Jade and Joy.

Since then, intra-family relations have been strained. The daughters of Laeticia Hallyday had even made rather spicy remarks to our French colleagues from Paris Match. “In Saint-Barth, David and Laura made us great promises, assuring us that they would always be there, that we could count on them, that we would see each other often. And then as soon as they left, we never heard from them directly again. I experienced it as abandonment. It’s just sad, we would have liked to share moments with our big brother and our big sister to talk about our father rather than seeing them take us to court, even though we didn’t do anything to them.” they emphasized.

This Saturday June 22, David was invited on the set of 50′ inside for the promotion of his new album. The brother of Jade and Joy spoke frankly about his two little sisters. And the least we can say is that he is ready to extend his hand to them. “I think they need to grow up a little… And then they need to have a little perspective, some life experience and if they want I’ll be there. And if they don’t want to, I’ll still be there the day they want”.

Will relations improve among the Hallydays?
