On Saturday June 14, many celebrities came together for the opening ceremony of the 2024 Monte-Carlo Television Festival. Simone Ashley but also Morgan Freeman were in particular in the spotlight. After five days of events, meetings, evenings and interviews (to be found on the Télé-Loisirs website), it was time to close this 63rd edition, on Tuesday June 18. Eve Gilles, Cindy Fabre, Olivier Marchal… The stars meet in Monaco
It was at 5:45 p.m. that the stars walked the blue carpet of the Golden Nymphs ceremony which closes the Monte-Carlo Television Festival each year. For this edition, the director and actor Olivier Marchal, who uttered a rant in an interview with Télé-Loisirs, received an Honorary Nymph for his entire career. Very touched, he was present to receive his prize and was accompanied by the singer and actress Barbara Opsomer (seen in her film Bronx), with whom he appeared complicit on the red carpet. Gérard Darmon was also present, as was Victor Belmondo, who will be found in the casting of the Netflix film Stronghold 36, directed by Olivier Marchal. On the blue carpet, we were also able to see Eve Gilles, Miss France 2024, shine, who indulged in selfie sessions and was accompanied by Cindy Fabre, new director of the Miss France Committee. Eric Judor also put on a show, while Adriana Karembeu was stunning. American actors were also there such as the stars of Flames of love and D’Love glory and beautythe actors of Good Doctor Fiona Gubelmann and Will Yun Lee, or even Carrie Preston and the president of the fiction jury, David Boreanaz. At the end of the blue carpet, Prince Albert of Monaco and Princess Charlene made a notable appearance.
The winners of the Monte-Carlo Television Festival 2024
Nine series and TV films were in competition during this edition of the Monte-Carlo Television Festival. Tuesday evening, the Nymphs rewarding the best fiction were presented during an evening hosted by Laury Thilleman and Vincent Niclo. Among the award-winning series, we find British fiction The Gathering, recently broadcast on Channel 4, which won the awards for best series, best actress for the young Eva Morga,n who plays her very first role, and best actor. New Zealand fiction Madam with Rachel Griffith and Martin Henderson won the prize for best creation. Discover the prize list in detail below:
