At 35, he arrived in the world of cuisine and promises to have a very big future: Fabien Ferré, at the head of the prestigious hotel-restaurant La Table du Castellet in the south of France, has made a big impact a few months ago by winning three stars in one fell swoop. Youngest triple-starred chef, he continues to infuse his teams with energy and could think even bigger: for the moment, his tables are full until October and demand is overflowing to taste his dishes, served between 160 and 250 euros.
A waking dream for him that he lives thanks to hard work… But also to his very present entourage. And in particular to a woman, met upon her arrival in the south of France in 2013: Alicia Tifaoui, director of marketing and commercial development of the hotel-restaurant in which he came to support chef Christophe Bacquié and which he ended up marrying.
A young woman who is full of praise for him: “He’s a go-getter“, she describes to our colleagues at Release in the portrait dedicated to him. “Realize, it’s his first place as chef and he wins the supreme rewardit’s incredible !“, she had already said in another interview at the time of its promotion by the Michelin guide.
Growing projects?
A mutual love: in his speech after receiving his three stars, Fabien Ferré had not forgotten the young woman: “Above all, thank you to you Alicia, who has been with me for ten years and without whom I would not be the man I am today“, he admitted, moved. And we imagine that the young woman was just as moved as he was!
The young couple begins to make plans: in a long interview with their town’s newspaper, the thirty-year-old, survivor of a serious stroke in 2012, explained that he could now also concentrate on his private life and find a balance with his passion for cooking. “With my partner Alicia, we really focused on our work which takes up a lot of our time. I knew, as I told you, parents who worked hard and I think I was nourished by that“, he had first explained. “Today, I think we’re going to have to work hard […] And afterwards, I will of course think about my personal life, because it’s important, you have to find the balance between personal life and professional life, if you have the strength to have your head on the handlebars“. So, after the third star, a family with Alicia? One thing is certain: together, Alicia and Fabien form a winning team!
