Kristopher Naegger's colorful route continues amidst his brushes and other gouaches. This American of origin, hailed by a loyal public and who has obtained successive prizes in his native state of Missouri, made his arrival in Albanian territory a reality through the meeting of Delphine, originally from the Monts d'Alban and professionally expatriated for a time in New . Speaking today fluently in the language of Molière, lightly flavored with a still perceptible trans-Atlantic accent, Kristopher Naegger explains that his artistic work often begins in a sometimes mysterious unknown, but that he trusts his instinct who complacently guides his hand on the canvas.

The cathedral too

In his tastefully furnished workshop, where he shares his passion during courses and sessions given to young people, some embryos of nostalgia can always be read on his paintings, translated by skyscrapers with an avant-garde trend. But not only that!

and its cathedral, the light of the pink bricks, the half-timbered houses and the history of old Alby and Pathus Crémat, inspire him as much as the paving of the streets.

The diversification of his inspirations breathes new life into his creations.

Kristopher Naegger began by presenting immense skyscrapers with obvious inspiration, but without avoiding Roman culture, notably the wolf nursing Remus and Romulus.

From a trip to Cadaquès, still protected from mass tourism, he brought back the immaculate white houses mirrored in the azure blue of the sea. Always on the verge of knowledge, he also tried his hand at pointillism , a technique that requires speed and precision to make sparkling colors appear in small dots on the canvas “in order to create a dynamic universe with luminous effects”. Creative and inventive, for paintings that do not leave you indifferent.
