PLANET MARKETS – Day 10. Gilles Lellouche, François Civil and Adèle Exarchopoulos presented the film phew love at the Palais des Festivals, this Thursday, May 23. A climb of the steps placed under the sign of emotion.

Their romance triumphs over all obstacles. In phew love, a musical comedy by Gilles Lellouche, François Civil and Adèle Exarchopoulos play Jackie and Clotaire, a couple linked by destiny. A feature film screened in competition during the Cannes Film Festival, this Thursday, May 23. On this occasion, the director and the two actors, whose chemistry he recently praised, climbed the steps of the Palais des Festivals in the company of other members of the cast.

An obvious complicity

Adèle Exarchopoulos appeared resplendent in an ultra-slit black dress, quick to sign autographs and multiply selfies with fans. Once on the red carpet, the actress first shared a few moments of complicity with Camille Cottin – herself arriving on the arm of her companion, the architect Benjamin Mahon -, and Mallory Wanecque, who embodies the young version of his character. She also joked with Raphaël Quenard, from whom she borrowed her sunglasses.

The one to whom we attribute a romance with her filming partner, François Civil, however, could not hide her emotion. And walked forward, with tears in her eyes, under the photographers’ flashes. Around her, the five-star cast of the film, very complicit, multiplied the hugs and tender gestures. Alain Chabat, more of an idiot, lit a cigarette before the red carpet, even petting a fan’s chihuahua. Gilles Lellouche, for his part, appeared a bit feverish – a nervousness which quickly gave way to a look full of pride.

Élodie Bouchez, François Civil, Jean-Pascal Zadi, Vincent Lacoste, Karim Leklou, Anthony Bajon and Malik Frikah stood alongside them. Co-writer of the feature film, Audrey Diwan was also there. Everyone increased their displays of affection, going so far as to jump in unison for the photographers, once at the top of the steps. Adèle Exarchopoulos and François Civil, for their part, posed arm in arm.

Tennis gang

A little earlier in the evening, a gang of tennis players conquered the red carpet. Henri Lecomte and Boris Becker were among the prestigious cast of Nasty – More Than Just Tennis, screened later in the evening. A sporting rise, since the Brazilian footballer Raí was also present at the event. The actor Samuel Le Bihan took their place, before Bella Hadid, in a Versace dress, made a remarkable arrival. The model, laughing, blew kisses and made hearts with her hands towards the audience.

Victor Belmondo, for his part, bewitched the Croisette with his piercing gaze. The grandson of Jean-Paul Belmondo came to defend the film Live, die, be reborn, by Gaël Morel. Followed, a few minutes later, by Greta Gerwig, president of the jury, majestic in a voluminous pink dress. Two days after the film screening Marcello Mio, Catherine Deneuve, for her part, offered herself a new appearance in front of the photographers, luminous in a black and gold dress. An evening definitely marked by a wave of love… phew.
