Thierry Martin was a discreet man: very polite, perhaps a little nervous inside, but that didn’t necessarily show. He was always calm and composed, even when he wanted to get the best image, camera around his neck, among other press photographers. Thierry Martin, born January 16, 1949, died Friday following a long illness.

The photographer has been illustrating Luxembourg news with his camera since the 1980s and followed the path from analog black and white photography to digital color photography during his long career.
