It is an exhibition imagined as a dive into the intimacy of a bedroom and into the infinite creative possibilities of a night of dreaming, nightmares, thinking, restless, from sunset until daybreak. . Until November 12, 2024, curator Margaux Plessy presents “A Room of Your Own”in the Richard Rogers gallery, in the heart of the domain of Château La Coste. A cultural event which takes its title from Virginia Woolf’s essential essay, and brings together both emerging artists and women artists of great importance in the history of art. Between explorations of the imagination, an element of mystery, a relaxing or threatening atmosphere, the immersive exhibition presents paintings, sculptures, tapestries — some of which were created especially for the exhibition — by Etel Adnan, Inès Longevial, Sophie Calle, Nathanaëlle Herbelin, Kiki Smith and Louise Bourgeois.
