For several days, a rumor has been spreading in certain media: Léon would have joined the PSG under-16 team this year and would even have signed a first contract. Small problem, this announcement is the result of a succession of approximations. First, Léon Debbouze does not play for the U16 team of the club’s training center, but for that of his association, which considerably changes the situation.
This organization has only managed the club’s amateur teams since 1991. Only an agreement, renewed in 2019 for ten years, links it to Paris Saint-Germain. The association’s licensees are closer to “leisure” practice, unlike the training center residents who aspire to become professionals.
