Donald Trump has been absent from Washington since Friday. He first visited the disaster states of North Carolina, seriously affected by a hurricane at the end of September 2024, and California, plagued by persistent and devastating fires. The US president then took part in a casino rally in Las Vegas, Nevada, on Saturday.
