Dominique Pelicot, guilty of having handed his drugged wife over to dozens of men, is again accused of sexual assault. This time, it concerns events which allegedly took place in 1995 in Paris. The alleged victim was 12 years old at the time.
Dominique Pelicot, nicknamed “the ogre of Mazan”, is sentenced to twenty years of criminal imprisonment in the Mazan rape case. For almost ten years, he had handed over his wife, Gisèle Pelicot, drugged and without his knowledge, to dozens of men to rape her.
Minor at the time
This time, his name reappears in another case, according to information from French media M6. The events allegedly took place in Paris in 1995. The alleged victim, aged twelve at the time, accuses the man of having sexually assaulted her. While the child was alone at home, Dominique Pelicot posed as an electrician who had to read the meter. After pretending to look for this counter, he asks the young girl to undress. To put him to sleep, he passes him a cloth soaked in ether. According to the alleged victim, aged 42 today, she was able to escape from him since her mother returned home.
At the time, a complaint was filed, but nothing could stop the author. It was almost thirty years later, after seeing Dominique Pelicot’s face on television, that the woman recognized him.
This is not the only unresolved case in which the name of Dominique Pelicot comes up. As a reminder, he is also heard in two cases of rape and murder in the Paris region. The facts date back to 1991 and 2002. Five other cases, which the courts are still investigating, could concern him.
