One competition can hide another! While the fresco called Ciclope (above the Marie-Claire florist, avenue Garibaldi) is in the running to win the award for “most beautiful fresco in the world 2025”(1)the Trompe l’œil.info website is organizing the 11e competition edition Golden street art intended to crown the most beautiful frescoes created in France during the year 2024. Three works painted during the last edition of the Minifest de La Seyne (urban art festival) are in the running: that of Valé Stencil rue Ambroise-Croizat (near of Place Martel-Esprit), that of Tetal & Sock on a facade of the town hall (rue Léon-Blum) and that of Grumo & Supocas, avenue Estienne-d’Orves (on the facade of the Gai Versant HLM).
To pass the first stage of the competition, these frescoes must be among the ten works most popular with Internet users among the fifty-seven preselected at the national level. To vote, simply connect to the competition Facebook page and “like” the work you want to support. And this until Sunday February 2 at 8 p.m.
In the process, the ten frescoes with the most “Likes” will be qualified for the final vote which will take place on the competition website.
-For the record, Marianne’s fresco, created in 2021 on the port (rue Ramatuelle) by graffiti artist Snake, ranked third in the 2022 edition of this same national competition.
Voting is open until January 31 on this site
