It seems a long way from the time when Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk bickered publicly, to the point that a meeting in MMA could even have been considered. Today, the founder of Meta is clearly in the rut of the owner of X, with commitments that could have been made by Elon Musk.
Indeed, in a video published on his Facebook account, Mark Zuckerberg gives a quick overview of Meta's content regulation policy over the last seven years. Noting that there are legitimately certain types of content that need to be moderated (such as child pornography), he added that over the years, too much censorship has been applied to exchanges on his platforms.
Quite characteristically, he claims that this censorship would be political, and would have been pushed in recent years by the government and the mainstream media. Returning to the election of Donald Trump, he suggests that it would be a sign of a cultural change in the United States, driven by a desire to put freedom of expression back into the spotlight. Words which are an exact copy of another well-known billionaire!
