The Night of the Fools at the Louvre Museum, closing night of the exhibition “Figures of the Fool. From the Middle Ages to the Romantics”

What could be more mischievous than transforming for one night the former palace of the kings of into the host of the Feast of Fools? On the occasion of a special night this January 17, the Louvre Museum is adorned with its most beautiful carnival costume to close its exhibition: Figures of the Fool in a crazy way. From the Middle Ages to the Romantics!

To make your head spin

Immersed in an exhilarating atmosphere, the museum promises a host of dances and performances to delight its audience and its walls. Nothing will be more wildly exhilarating than being able to admire the dancers of Madame Arthur's cabaret taking over the underground passages of the museum or the Bal Macabre parade unleashed to the rhythm of a live electro. The dancers of the Ballet will also join in this modern hullabaloo, and will perform choreographies broadcast in mirror images in the Cour Marly and Puget, enough to turn many heads…

The farandole of the arts

A myriad of intoxicating activities will also be part of this festive spiral. The soiree and its procession of workshops will allow you (among other things) to create your own mask to adorn yourself with a crazy attribute, to put on makeup to resemble one of the figures in the exhibition or even to design a thaumatrope to become master of illusion.

Madness of grandeur

To make your head spin one last time, Night of Fools crowns Zaho de Sagazan as queen of the evening and promises a finale worthy of your wildest dreams. To all lovers of mischief, dance and performances, this evening promises to be full of delicious madness of all kinds.
