Two weeks earlier, a 63-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound to the head and later died.

Police are seriously considering a link between these three incidents. “The fact that three men were targeted, apparently unrelated to each other, reinforces the idea that these are random victims,” a spokesperson told ANP, while specifying that the suspect’s motive remains unknown.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned man. During the latest attack, he was wearing a black The North Face jacket, a gray hoodie, dark pants and dark shoes. CCTV footage was released showing the suspect walking behind the victim shortly before the attack.

Police are appealing to anyone with information to come forward immediately by calling the emergency number. She also asks not to attempt to intervene directly, due to the potential dangerousness of the individual.

Authorities continue to comb the neighborhood, using helicopters, patrol vehicles and door-to-door searches. The priority is to stop this suspected shooter before he causes more victims.
