An Israeli strike on a house in Jabalia, in the north of the Gaza Strip, left ten people dead within the same family, including seven children and a woman, said the Civil Defense of the Palestinian enclave, Friday 20 December. The dead children were under 7 years old and 15 other people were injured, according to Civil Defense spokesperson Mahmoud Bassal.
The Israeli army, contacted by AFP, affirms that the results communicated by Civil Defense “does not agree with the information in (his) possession”. Israeli forces “hit several terrorists who were operating in a military structure” of the Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas, and which “represented a threat”she assured.
