Nearly 5,000 students and teachers were made aware of electrical risks and eco-responsible actions in terms of energy, in five cities across the country, on the occasion of the 8e edition of the Caravan called “Les coups de la vie Tour”.
For several years, the Ivorian Electricity Company (CIE) has been associated with the “Les Coups de la Vie Tour” project, led by the famous writer Anzata Ouattara. This partnership illustrates the company’s desire to invest in the future by preparing future generations for important challenges.
A reference partner since the start of this initiative, the electricity company once again participated in the 8th edition of the Les Coups de la Vie Caravan which took place in five cities, notably in Kouto, Kani, Séguéla, Agnibilekro and Bondoukou.
In a world where education is often tested by various challenges, the company stands out as a corporate citizen, committed to supporting initiatives that promote education and excellence in schools.
This event made it possible to create a space for exchange and sharing around education, in particular through reading competitions, dictations, awareness-raising and fun games, while addressing essential themes linked to electrical safety.
One of the highlights of this caravan was the awareness raising led by the company’s safety prevention engineers. In November, the tour took place in Kouto, Kani, Séguéla, then on December 4, 2024 in Agnibilekro and December 6, 2024 in Bondoukou.
The company’s experts took the time to inform students and the public about the risks of electrical origin. These sessions were appreciated by the populations, and the discussions which followed helped to strengthen understanding of the risks linked to electrical safety.
This initiative demonstrates a deep commitment to the development of the educational community. By supporting educational projects and raising awareness among young people about crucial subjects, the electricity company helps to train responsible and enlightened citizens.
These actions not only promote academic excellence, but also create a safer environment for all. Through the “Les Coups de la Vie Tour” caravan, the company wants to educate children about electrical safety.
The CIE asserts itself as a key player in educational and social development in Côte d’Ivoire. Since the beginning of this adventure, she has been determined to make a positive difference in the lives of young people and communities.
