According to initial information, the device could belong to an Argentine businessman named Jorge Brito. According to Minuto Uno, the latter and his family were not on the plane at the time of the tragedy.
However, the pilot and his co-pilot would have lost their lives in the crash after what could be an error in the landing maneuver. The latter would have dropped off passengers in Punta del Este, in Uruguay, before returning to Argentina where the tragedy occurred.
