British police accuse the two brothers, who are in Romania where they face separate charges, of having paid no tax on the 21 million pounds (38.24 million Canadian dollars) of income they affected for activities on the internet between 2014 and 2022.

She will be able to seize the two million pounds from seven frozen bank accounts of the two brothers.

Police had filed a civil action against Andrew and Tristan Tate as well as a third person, a woman identified only by the letter J in the proceedings.

What appeared to be a “complex financial matrix” was in reality a “simple revenue scam”, the judge at Westminster Magistrates’ Court in London said in handing down his ruling.

“If you oppose the power, they will do everything to destroy you,” reacted Andrew Tate on X, where he is followed by more than ten million people. “Remember the government hates you. Buy bitcoins,” he added.

During the trial in July, the police lawyer referred to a video in which Andrew Tate said: “When I lived in England, I refused to pay taxes”.

The two brothers “are serial evaders” on taxes and VAT, accused this lawyer, Sarah Clarke. “They brag about it, especially Andrew Tate,” she added.

Andrew Tate, 38, is under house arrest near Bucharest. Tristan Tate, 36, is subject to judicial supervision. They are being prosecuted for trafficking in human beings by an organized gang and rape.

The Romanian justice system must make its decision on Thursday on whether or not to hold a trial, after having reported in November “irregularities” in the indictment.

The prosecution suspects them of having duped several women for the purposes of sexual exploitation.

Former professional kickboxing fighter, Briton Andrew Tate has lived in Romania for several years.

He promotes masculinist theses on X and uses his advice to men to help them become rich.
