Former Speaker of the United States House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi was injured during a trip to Luxembourg and was admitted to a hospital for evaluation, her team announced in a statement Friday carried by Reuters.
“While traveling with a bipartisan congressional delegation to Luxembourg to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge, Nancy Pelosi was injured during an official engagement and was admitted to the hospital for evaluation”declared its spokesperson Ian Krager in a press release.

Aged 84, Nancy Pelosi is the first woman to serve as Speaker of the House of Representatives.
