A cable car cabin from the Savoyard station hit the arrival station on Tuesday around 7:30 a.m. Two people are seriously injured.

A gondola accident occurred this Tuesday, November 19 around 7:30 a.m. in the French resort of Val Thorens, in Savoie. According to information from “Dauphiné Libéré”a cabin of the cable car connecting the Caron peak hit the arrival station located at the top of the station.

Sixteen workers were on board at the time of the incident and several of them were injured, two of them seriously. Rescue operations are underway, complicated by bad weather.
