Frauke Müller appointed to the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh
Full professor and head of the Division of Gerodontology and Assistant Prosthodontics at the University Clinic of Dentistry (CUMD/Faculty of Medicine), Frauke Müller is appointed Fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh ad hominem.
Frauke Müller has held the chair of gerodontology at the Faculty of Medicine since 2003 and is an associate physician, head of the Gerodontology Unit of the Department of Geriatrics and Rehabilitation at HUG. Trained in Germany and the United Kingdom, she led the CUMD from 2018 to 2022. An expert in the fields of mastication and nutrition in older people and quality of life with removable appliances, she chaired the European College of Gerodontology and the Geriatric Oral Research Group of the IADR, as well as the Swiss Society of Gerodontology and Special Dental Care (SSGS). She is also an honorary doctor of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and a double winner, in 2013 and 2023, of the Distinguished Scientist Award awarded by the IADR.
