Since Donald Trump was elected to the White House, the relationship between the United States and Russia has been in the spotlight.

Will Putin and Trump be enemies or collusion?

Listen to Justin Massie, co-director of the strategic analysis network and professor at UQAM, discuss the issue with host Philippe Cantin.

First and foremost, the analyst discusses Vladimir Putin’s attempts to humiliate Donald Trump, in particular by broadcasting naked photos of Melania Trump on Russian state television.

“This is what we saw in the media immediately after the presidential election. There was a report on state television where they showed photos… When Melania Trump was younger, she posed naked and she was really exposed on state television for several seconds, several photos, in a context where we think it seems to want to embarrass President-elect Donald Trump, because it’s difficult to see what other circumstances could explain such a thing.

And why would the Russians do this? Wouldn’t it be better to start with good relationships?
