Slanderous denunciation: she invents rape to hide her adultery

A young woman who wanted to cover up her adultery with her lover as rape was caught by French justice during a trial which she did not attend.

It was after her boyfriend received an intimate video that the young woman plunged into lies, pushing a Charente-Maritime court to sentence the defendant in absentia to prison and a fine.

“She had the courage to go to the police and lie by accusing me of having raped her, but not to come before your court,” denounced the lover before the judge, admitting that this affair had very disturbed.

It was the campaign of the lover whom she suspected of romantic betrayal who sent the compromising video to the partner of the defendant prosecuted for slanderous denunciation, according to what the media Live reported.

The latter, instead of admitting to her adulterous relationship, explained during her testimony before the investigators that she had been forced to give in, evoking a “complete and non-consensual” sexual relationship.

“If I had not been able to prove it, I would certainly be in prison for something that I did not commit,” pleaded the forty-year-old before the judge who sentenced the young woman to three months in prison and to pay the equivalent of $10,000 to his victim.
