In this Harris Interactive – Toluna study for the French media Challenges, M6 and RTL, the united left received 22% of voting intentions (25.7% of votes collected in 2022), the Macronist camp 19% (compared to 25.8 %), and the large right-wing party Les Républicains 9% (compared to 11.3%).

According to the polling institute, reported to the hemicycle, the National Rally would obtain only a relative majority, with 235 to 265 seats, compared to 89 currently in the National Assembly.

The presidential majority would only have 125 to 155 deputies (compared to 249 currently), the left-wing alliance Nupes 115 to 145 seats (currently 153) and The Republicans 40 to 55 seats (currently 74).

Marine Le Pen’s RN received 32% of the vote in Sunday’s European elections, almost twice the score of the presidential party, leading President Emmanuel Macron to dissolve the National Assembly and announce legislative elections which will be held on June 30 and July 7, at the risk of bringing the extreme right to power in France for the first time through the ballot box.

This survey was carried out online on June 9 and 10, 2024 among a sample of 2,744 people representative of the French population aged 18 and over, including 2,340 people registered on the electoral lists, according to the quota method, with a margin of error of 1 to 2.3 points.

Marine Le Pen assured this Monday evening that in the event of a victory for the National Rally in the early legislative elections, Jordan Bardella was destined to become Prime Minister, and not her, during an interview on TF1.

“For months, we have been working with Jordan Bardella as part of an executive couple with the aim of best fulfilling the functions that the French would entrust to us. Me towards the Presidency of the Republic, him towards Matignon, there is no reason to change that,” argued the three-time unsuccessful candidate in the presidential election.
