INTERSOS intervenes in emergency and crisis situations to help individuals, families and communities whose lives are threatened by conflict, extreme poverty, natural or man-made disasters. It does this by offering support during humanitarian emergencies, based on its operational capabilities and resources. The work of INTERSOS staff is guided by:

Job title: 01 HUMAN RESOURCES ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Based in Ouagadougou with field missions
Primary objective
Perform administrative, legal and human resources tasks to support the Human Resources Administration Officer and the Human Resources Manager following INTERSOS standards and procedures, to ensure compliance with national legislation.

Hierarchy: Responsible for human resources administration
Contract duration: 8 months renewable

Tasks
Human resources policies, procedures and reporting:
Update Social Security and Tax Office records to meet legal requirements, including specific changes necessary to ensure compliance with local labor and tax laws.
Manage personnel records to ensure accuracy, compliance and timely payment.
Update the HR database on IMP files and personal files to facilitate the management of HR processes.
Provide assistance in the event of an audit.
Administration
Provide consultative support to the HR department and line managers on all administrative and HR aspects, as applicable
Assist the Human Resources Administration Manager in preparing monthly pay slips for staff by editing and updating the necessary data, to ensure punctuality and accuracy of the payroll process. Ensure regular and timely circulation and collection of pay slips in all field bases.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll-related questions or concerns. Assist the human resources administration manager in managing absences by updating leave tracking and correctly archiving requests, and provide support to staff and line managers.
Make all administrative information available to staff (posting, meetings, etc.)
Visit field bases, if necessary
Any other HR/administrative task delegated by the Human Resources Director or Head of Human Resources Administration.
Requirements
Training
Degree desirable in the field of finance, business or administration
Professional experience
Minimum 1 year of experience in HR and administration in humanitarian contexts with NGOs

Essential computer skills (word, excel and internet)
