A Moroccan doctor called on his country to welcome the wounded from the Gaza Strip, stressing that around 120 doctors and nurses are ready to travel to the besieged enclave to provide medical support.

On Sunday, tens of thousands of people took to the streets of the Moroccan capital, Rabat, for a march in solidarity with Palestine and Lebanon, and demanded an end to the genocide committed by Israel in the Gaza Strip.

This demonstration comes on the eve of the first anniversary of the genocidal war waged by Israel in the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023.

Balhous said doctors and health professionals are participating to demand the opening of some public hospitals to treat the wounded in Gaza, particularly those whose health conditions require treatment outside the border. besieged Palestinian enclave.

Balhous added that around 120 doctors and nurses were ready to travel to the Gaza Strip to provide medical support, reiterating the solidarity of his country’s doctors with the Palestinians in the enclave as well as with the West Bank, Lebanon and Yemen.
