Share a moment with your neighbors!

Since 2006, Nyon has participated in the Neighbors’ Day, an event whose objective is to promote local ties, solidarity and contacts between neighbors by encouraging residents of the same building or a same neighborhood to get together around an aperitif or a buffet.

Neighbors’ Day is an opportunity to develop conviviality and solidarity within a building or neighborhood. The principle is to invite your neighbors for an aperitif or a Canadian meal, at home or in a common space (room, driveway, garden, courtyard, etc.).

The City of Nyon provides participants with free posters, flyers and invitation cards in the colors of the party. It also provides benches and tables, although the stock is already exhausted for this year.

The organizers hope to see many Nyon residents participating in this annual tradition, which has proven its effectiveness in strengthening local communities over the years.
