The Chablais highway project continues to be talked about by our French neighbors. Despite strong opposition, the project has been moving forward since the beginning of 2024. However, since this summer, no news has been given about the negotiations between the French State and the builder Eiffage.

To break this silence, the senator from Haute-Savoie, Sylviane Noël, addressed an open letter to the new Prime Minister Michel Barnier, reports:The Messenger“. In this, she asks him to take charge of the file as soon as possible, in order to validate the allocation of the site to the company Eiffage. “This administrative step is essential to allow the effective start of the construction of the A412. This is an absolutely vital infrastructure to open up the territory,” she insists.
