“I don’t care what he said”, Hélène reacts to the departure of Philippe Vasseur (José)

Hélène Rollès, showing this Sunday, December 22, 2024 on TMC with the Christmas bonus of Mysteries of lovereacted to the departure of Philippe Vasseur, alias José.

This Sunday, December 22, 2024, it’s already a bit like Christmas on TMC. From 8:05 p.m., the channel broadcasts the now traditional end-of-year bonus for Mysteries of love. On the program: a wedding, a birthday, Santa Claus and reunions, notably those with Camille Raymond (Justine in First kisses), Magalie Madison (Annette), Bruno Le Millin (Monsieur Girard) or Rochelle Redfield (Johanna)… But a key actor of the gang will be missing: Philippe Vasseur, alias José, who left the TMC series l last year!

The Mysteries of Love: “We miss him a lot!”Hélène Rollès talks about the departure of Philippe Vasseur (José)

Hélène Rollès cannot really come to terms with this absence, as she confided to Télé-Loisiers : “I understand him but it bothers me. I know he’s happy today. He wanted to do his own thing, he wanted other things. Everyone is free! But we miss him a lot!” The actress also revealed if she had met again Philippe Vasseur since his departure: “No, I haven’t seen him again, but I know he’s doing well. I have some news. I’m keeping up to date with his exhibitions and his stuff. But I would like him to come back. I I don’t care what he said. I want him to be with us.”

The Mysteries of Love : Philippe Vasseur (José) very happy away from the TMC series

For his part, Philippe Vasseur doesn’t really seem to miss the Mysteries of Love film sets. Since leaving the TMC series, he has devoted himself in his refuge in Cayeux-sur-mer, in the Bay of , to his passion: painting and sculpture. Questioned recently by our colleagues from Courier Picardhe did not mince his words concerning the quality of the series in which he filmed for Jean-Luc Azoulay, from Hélène et les enfants to Mysteries of love : “We arrived early in the morning, at the time of the call that concerned you and presto! makeup, then we shot an entire 26-minute episode without knowing what time we would finish. We went on and on, we went on and on, not really time to be good with text two balls and a strike (…) We didn’t have much to gain with these texts but no chance of being able to demonstrate what we knew how to do elsewhere and we never had the opportunity to give muscle to these characters.” Words that are not really in the holiday spirit, unlike the prime of Mysteries broadcast this Sunday, December 22, 2024 on TMC from 8:05 p.m….
