To become the new star, this Gironde association learns to write songs

The music association La Bande Sons, cours du Rocher in Langon (Gironde), set up an innovative training course song composition in six sessions, for music and song enthusiasts.

It will take place on Saturday afternoons in Langon, lasting three hours.

It is designed for everyone who wants to transform their ideas and emotions into musicwhether you are a beginner or already have basic musical experience.

Learn to write lyrics and music

Throughout the sessions, trainees will explore the foundations of composition:

• The structure of the songs
• Writing lyrics
• Creating melodies and chords
• Rhythm and arrangements

Each course alternates between theory and practice to allow each participant to develop their own musical ideas while benefiting from the advice and feedback of the group.

For whom?

The songwriting workshop is aimed at music enthusiasts beginnerswith a basic knowledge of music theory or agreements (not obligatory, but desirable), as well as amateur musicians wishing to deepen their musical creativity and experiment with new writing techniques.

The dates of the courses (six 3-hour sessions) are as follows:

• Saturday January 18, 2025
• Saturday February 8, 2025
• Saturday March 22, 2025
• Saturday April 12, 2025
• Saturday May 10, 2025
• Saturday June 14, 2025
