New card for the Blues on TF1. Despite a kick-off given at the time when many French people return from work, the France-Poland match, the third and final outing of the vice-world champions in the group stage of the Euro, the French supporters were a new time to support them.
Tuesday June 25, there were 9.3 million tuned in to TF1, for an audience share of 54%, with a peak of 12.5 at the end of the match, to watch this sad draw (1-1). An insufficient result for Didier Deschamps’ men to grab first place in group D. By finishing behind Austria, who beat the Netherlands (2-3), they were transferred to the toughest part of the table .
During the Blues’ first meeting against Austria (0-1), TF1 had its best audience of the year, attracting 11.25 million viewers (47.6%). The second match against the Netherlands, broadcast on M6, did a little less well: 10.21 million people (47.4%).
