While season 2 of “Frenchie Shore” is currently broadcast on Canal +, one of its protagonists, Kara, has made serious accusations against two other candidates of the sulphurous show, Julie and Melvin. On January 16, 2025, the young woman declared on X: “I was sexually assaulted twice by the same individual. The second time with the complicity of the friend. I never wanted to talk about this trauma but saw that I was being forced to.” She added that Julie enjoyed drugging people without their knowledge: “Julie took videos of me while I was on GHB & ecstasy (just before I overdosed) and showed them to many people including the cast of “Frenchie Shore.”
If the 25-year-old Frenchwoman did not mention the name of her supposed attacker, fans of the program think it is Melvin. He also reacted on Instagram by indicating that he and Julie had taken legal action for public defamation.
According to the lawyers of the two participants involved, these accusations are unfounded. “Kara’s quest for notoriety cannot justify the exploitation of the struggles against sexual violence and chemical submission,” they declared to “Parisien”. For the moment, there are no complaints or legal proceedings against them.
Contacted by the newspaper, Julie did not mince her words towards Kara. “It’s completely absurd, I’m overwhelmed. “It’s all a story about buttocks in the end, she didn’t want to accept the fact that we had a threesome,” said the reality TV candidate, who clarified that the events took place in February 2024, during an evening at her home.
