The fourth film of Sonic the Hedgehog has an official release date, and it’s not right away.
After the phenomenal success of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 at the cinema this winter, Paramount has confirmed the release date of the next opus: March 19, 2027.
Actor Ben Schwartz, who voices the character Sonic, also confirmed the release date on Instagram.
Which character from the famous video game series will join Sonic for the fourth film? If you have already seen Sonic 3 on the big screen, you may have a small idea, but we will certainly be treated to a few surprises.
-Sonic 3 received mostly positive reviews, notably for the performances of Jim Carrey and Keanu Reeves, and grossed $422.5 million worldwide. In January, the film franchise Sonic reached $1 billion in global box office revenue.
