This Tuesday, we had the pleasure of speaking with the friendly Jean-Nicolas Verreault, as part of the launch of the CRAVE programming where he will host the reality show Aller simple, inspired by the popular series of the same name.

We took the opportunity to talk to him about the recent upheavals that took place on the STAT set. He spoke to us in particular about the arrival of Jean-Philippe Perras (see his photos here) in the daily newspaper, in the role of the new psychiatrist at Saint-Vincent hospital.

Precisely, this Tuesday, the characters were already talking about the hiring of a new psychiatrist in the daily newspaper. So it’s a matter of time before we can meet him officially.

« I have a really fun relationship with his character. », immediately tells us the interpreter of Gabriel Lemaire.

« He has something very, very geeky about him too. It has something very brilliant and very mysterious at the same time. But in the end, we realize that it’s just a cry of a good psychologist! “, he says about this new character, before adding “ He searches, he works. It bothers me at first because I’m a little rooster too, I’m a bollé. »

The interaction at the start will therefore be more difficult, before becoming frankly positive, as Jean-Nicolas Verreault confirms to us: “ At one point he call matters that I don’t agree with, but I have a certain rigidity too. I ended up finding it damn effective. »

We look forward to learning more about this expected arrival in today’s daily newspapers.

Furthermore, Jean-Nicolas Verreault also gave us his feelings on the change in format which will affect the series starting next fall.

« All I noticed was that it was good news because it gives a kind of puff of oxygen to our author whom we adore, who falls into a format to be able to deepen certain intrigues, which was done less well in the daily life, and that gives her a little air valve to be able to continue to give us feeder with good stock. For all of that, I’m happy. Yes, for sureat largeI also like the format of the daily newspaper and it is certain thatat largethat’s 85 days of filming instead of 150 in total. »

The actor expresses a wish, alongside this announcement of a change of format: “ I hope that we will keep our young audience, because I find it quite exciting because we came across a family audience, which is not always the case. STAT reaches a lot of family audiences. »

We bet that the broadcaster will think about this, to ensure that it can retain the same audience despite the schedule change.

STAT continues, Monday to Thursday at 7 p.m., on -.
