Like every Sunday on France 5, Mélanie Taravant was at the helm of a new issue of “Cmedia” on January 12, 2025. In the first part, the 47-year-old journalist welcomed Alexia Laroche-Joubert, boss of Banijay France.

Alexia Laroche-Joubert “confident” for the future of Cyril Hanouna
The reality TV pioneer was notably questioned about Arcom’s decision not to renew the frequency of C8 on TNT from February 28, 2025 at midnight. She spoke in particular about the future of Cyril Hanouna after the end of C8. The host is the founder of H2O Productions, a company which belongs to the Banijay France group which she manages. “The advantage of Cyril Hanouna is that he is the best communicator about himself. So I let him communicate about himself“, she first kicked in touch. Before ensuring that she showed herself “trusting“for him:”We do not deprive ourselves of such talent, of such notoriety. There is no problem.“
Alexia Laroche-Joubert, however, did not want to confirm that “Touche pas à mon poste” could soon move from C8 to CStar, one of the options on the table. “I’m not going to answer you. Everything is under study. The universe of possibilities is wide.“She was content to criticize the measure taken by the audiovisual policeman:”You are taking away from an audience a television channel which is the first of TNT. This is a denial of democracy“, she concluded by recalling that C8 had already paid its debt. Puremédias invites you to watch the sequence.
