Good news for Ginny & Georgia fans: Netflix confirmed in May 2023 that the series would be renewed for two additional seasons. This means that in addition to season 3, a season 4 is already guaranteed.
During the announcement, designer Sarah Lampert revealed on Instagram that surprises were to come: “You have no idea what awaits you.”
The series, carried by Brianne Howey (Georgia) and Antonia Gentry (Ginny), continues to captivate audiences with its blend of family drama, mysteries and humor.
Production delayed but on track
Although the series was renewed in spring 2023, production on season 3 was delayed due to strikes by the Writers Guild of America (May 2023) and SAG-AFTRA (July 2023). These conflicts suspended writing and filming until the end of the strikes, in October and November 2023.
Finally, pre-production began in December 2023, followed by filming starting in February 2024 in Toronto, under the code name « Tulips & Tuxes ». Filming concluded on September 13, 2024. Netflix confirmed this milestone with an enthusiastic message on its social networks: “This season is truly special, thanks to the talent and hard work of the entire team. »
A release planned for spring 2025
With production completed, Netflix announced that the season 3 of Ginny & Georgia would arrive in 2025probably in spring. This estimate could become clearer during the next “Next on Netflix” announcements, expected at the end of January 2025.
