He makes his return after twenty years of absence. His return had often been announced but never brought to fruition. It was ultimately the RMC channel that brought it back to life.
“A year ago, we did a special broadcast for the 25th anniversary of bigdil and without doing any communication, we had achieved audience records, which shows the power of this brand,” says Stéphane Sallé de Chou, general manager of RMC Story and RMC Découverte. “Looking at the comments from viewers, we noticed that there was an attachment to this television from before, which was a bit of YouTube before YouTube, with a certain freedom. »
The same game as twenty years ago
So the channel took all the ingredients that contributed to the success of this game: Vincent Lagaf is back at the helm, always accompanied by his extraterrestrial sidekick Bill, from the planet Fricus, once again voiced by the irreplaceable Gilles Vautier, who will do everything to get players to leave with a can.
The two “gafettes” of the time will also be back, contrary to what was implied a few months ago. Nadia and Fanny, accomplices of Vincent and Bill, will always be there to help the candidates in different tests. “It was one of Vincent's conditions, who wanted to work again with the same teams as twenty years ago,” notes the director of RMC Story.
The mechanics and spirit of the Bigdil remain intact: crazy games, from the blind test to the terrifying tumble dryer, gifts of all kinds and the famous sequin curtain which has some nice surprises in store, including a car. Candidates will always have the possibility to exchange their winnings… At their own risk!
