Thursday January 2, 2025 in Tomorrow belongs to us… In front of the police station, Manon laments about her parents’ divorce. Nordine reasons with her: Aurore and William have been talking about it for so long that we have to come to terms with it. The young woman blames her mother who, she is sure, still has feelings for her father. Nordine is more definitive: Aurore has the right to rebuild her life and Manon must accept it. It is then that she reveals her mother’s secret to him. She is not attracted to Achilles at all. If she got closer to him, it’s because he’s a crook and she’s on an undercover mission.
Tomorrow belongs to us in advance: Sébastien reprimanded by Marianne
At the hospital, Benny comes to note the constants of Sébastien who came out of a coma a few days ago but is already very busy with his work. The prosecutor does not really appreciate the nurse’s jokes and the exchange between the two is tense. Shortly after, Benny doesn’t get angry after Sébastien’s attitude. Always conciliatory, Chloé emphasizes that as a prosecutor, he has a lot of work and responsibilities. Benny, in a joking tone, says that he won’t resuscitate him if an accident happens. Marianne, not far away, heard everything and immediately shouted at the intern. Then she goes to Sébastien’s room and sharply admonishes him. He must not work during his sick leave! He makes amends. Then she asks him to be more courteous to Benny. Here again, he admits to having been a little dry. In the afternoon, while he is with Camille and Maud, Sébastien completely changes his behavior with Benny. He even appears friendly and relaxed. This displayed and exaggerated good humor makes her two granddaughters uncomfortable.
Tomorrow belongs to us in advance: Joël offers Mona to live with him
At the Spoon, Audrey thinks it’s a little early for Mona and Joel to move in together. Mélody is a big fan of their decision, she understands their urgency and is convinced that everything will go well, even if Mona has a rather free character. A little later, Audrey tries a little awkwardly to send some messages to Mona about life as a couple. Then the latter has an astonishing reaction: she believes that moving in with her other half is the beginning of the end for a couple! Made aware of this reflection, Mélody immediately calls Joël to dissuade him from asking Mona to live with him. But she comes across his voicemail. In the evening, Joël arrives at the Spoon and Audrey immediately jumps on him. But she doesn’t have time to warn him and very quickly he offers Mona a key to his house. Her reaction does not exude absolute enthusiasm but she does not decline the proposal. As she leaves the Spoon, Mona still looks good but, clearly, she is not completely at ease.
Tomorrow belongs to us in advance: William is at his worst, Aurore kisses Achille!
At the hospital, Marianne, Christelle and Samuel have no news of William, who saw Aurore in the arms of another man. Samuel puts forward an explanation: he went to pick up his car in Montpellier and he must be stuck in traffic jams. But it’s a lie: once alone, Samuel leaves a message for William asking him to come to work. Then he calls Victoire, who is still at home, so that she can come and see if William is still at home. She finds him in his room, unconscious. She immediately suspects that he has attempted suicide and sets about reviving him! Fortunately the incident was not serious, William only reacted badly to the two pills taken the previous evening. He reassures her: he is not so desperate as to end his life. Victoire then calls Samuel back to reassure him. At the same time, Aurore and Achille (played by an actor from More beautiful life) walk on the seashore. He talks about his work as an archaeologist, she shares some childhood memories. He slips to her as he is now considering a serious relationship. Then he makes a real statement to her before taking her photo. She enters into his game of seduction. He kisses her… At the same time, William arrives at the hospital. Samuel warns him: he is not in a position to carry out his consultations. William rebuffs him sharply. But clearly, he is already making mistakes… In the evening, Samuel comes to see Aurore at the police station. He asks her to be fair with William because the latter is having a hard time with their situation. Troubled but kept secret, she says nothing to Samuel.
As Martin prepares to leave, Aurore comes to see him to tell him that she must confess everything to William. He categorically refuses. Achille is too dangerous and they cannot take the risk that William, by his reaction, will ruin the operation. Martin is clear: it’s an order.
