Jean Dujardin and Audrey Dana were invited this Wednesday, December 18 in the show C à Vous on France 5, to promote the series Zorrowhich will begin broadcast on Monday December 23 at 9:10 p.m. on France 2.
Audrey Dana talks about an accident on the set of Zorro
In this new adaptation, Jean Dujardin plays the main role of Don Diego de la Vega, aka Zorro, while Audrey Dana plays Doña Gabriella, Don Diego’s wife.
During the show, the two actors returned to several anecdotes from the filming, including a notable incident: Audrey Dana, during a fake sword fight, accidentally injured Jean Dujardin by exploding his lip. A misadventure which was told with humor, testifying to the good understanding between the actors on the set.
“That’s three weeks of egg in his mouth apparently. It’s especially his little look, every time I do the roll, so there were the rehearsals, the filming, there was Jean who was like that ‘aaah’, panicking on board. First rehearsal, nudge and too much enthusiasm, at the same time, it’s not my job as a swordsman.” she confided with a little smile in the France 5 program.
Jean Dujardin wanted to explain: “That’s what was needed for the role too, that energy” he said before Anne-Élisabeth Lemoine added: “and passion in bed…“.
