Romane (Giulia Sagnier) hears everything and leaves after calling Victoire a liar. The police continue their search along the sea to find Fred. Georges is very cold towards Michaël, but Martin tells the latter that their colleague will eventually calm down.

Victoire and Samuel find Romane hiding in a closet, they talk to her through the door. Victoire tells the little girl the whole truth about Fred, and Samuel supports his friend by saying that she wanted to protect Romane. Victoire apologizes to him. Georges scans the coastline with a thermal camera drone and ends up discovering Fred’s body below. Victoire arrives at the hospital and Georges tells her that Fred has a serious head injury. Aaron then explains to his colleague that their patient’s condition has stabilized. She goes to Fred’s bedside and talks to him about Romane. But he suddenly stops and she begins to give him cardiac massage. Aaron joins her to help her but nothing helps. As she stops the massage, in despair, Victoire sees Fred’s heart start again.

In the morning, Adam warns his parents that he plans to go to an aperitif that same evening. Soizic pretends to read François’ thoughts and asks her son not to come home late. François then starts writing on post-its and talking with his partner. At high school, Lizzie and Jack arrive with flyers for the Christmas choir show, but the others are pessimistic about their project with aphoneless François. Chloé notices that she has lost the necklace that Renaud had given her. She contacts Benny to see if the necklace is at the hospital, but he finds nothing. She and Alex continue their search in their house and come across lots of their lost objects in the trunk of Céleste’s toy. Continuing their searches, they came across a necklace from Maxime. They finally decide to go for a romp in their room and that’s where Chloe finds her necklace under the mattress.
