After a crossover with Astrid and Raphaëlle and a new episode last week, here it is again Alexandra Ahlethe craziest lawyer on the small screen always played by Julie Depardieu. If all the characters are part of this adventure, only Thomas VDB, who plays Samuel, the heroine’s ex-husband, and Xavier Guelfi, who plays Théo, are missing. The latter, however, is replaced by Lauréna Thellier (who played Murielle Bolle in A French affair, the TF1 miniseries adapted from the Grégory affair) a colorful new assistant even if she is dressed all in black!

Alexandra Ahle is called to the scene of a new crime. The body of a woman completely covered in blue paint has just been discovered, exhibited like a work of art. Obviously, the victim had a lover (played by Kamini) and obviously, he finds himself at the top of the list of suspects. But that’s before the clues lead the series’ fine team onto other avenues. As usual, Alexandra Ehle takes her new assistant into the field, an austere girl, steeped in certainty, halfway between Greta Thunberg and Wednesday Adams, and the type to make a report as soon as the 36th hour of work begins! On a more personal level, Alexandra Ehle must manage her father who lies like a tooth puller (François Berléand), the backlash of her mother (Andréa Ferréol), her boyfriend in search of something (André Manoukian), the states of her brother (Bernard Yerlès) and the motherhood desires of Ludivine (Sophie Le Tellier), her friend and entomologist (the insect specialist).

Good news for fans ofAlexandra Ahle : after several episodes of absence, Sara Martins is finally back in the series. However, don’t expect a proper reunion, the character returns as if nothing had happened. The real pleasant surprise of this adventure lies in the appearance of Imogen, played by Lauréna Thellier, the new assistant ofAlexandra Ahle. Friendly as a prison door, she not only manages to irritate everyone but above all, she manages to annoy the most crazy lawyer on the small screen whose tolerance threshold is nevertheless high. That’s saying something! If the humor is still there, the number of characters, as sympathetic as they are, ultimately leaves little room for each one, especially the recurring ones.
