One of the main characters ofAlerts tragically lost his life in the Monday, December 2 episode, the last episode before the holiday break, and viewers have their own idea as to the reason behind his death.

At the end of the episode, Captain Roméo Goulet (Jean-Michel Anctil) is savagely stabbed by a currently unknown character, played by Luis Oliva. We can imagine that this character will gain importance, because it was announced last month that the actor was joining the cast of the fifth season.
However, even if we know very little at the moment about the role he plays, viewers have their own idea as to the motive which would have pushed him to take the captain’s life.
Indeed, on the show’s Facebook page, several Internet users seem to lean towards the same theory, which would like his murder to be linked to that of one of his former colleagues…

“He said he didn’t believe in the suicide of his police officer friend… Probably the two murders are linked! Looking forward to seeing what happens next. One thing is certain, we will miss Captain Goulet! He brought a good dynamic to the team! Bravo, Jean-Michel Anctil, for this role! Your character was very interesting!”
“Before him, his former colleague died, and according to Goulet, it was not a suicide. Maybe this is all connected?
