She is a leading candidate from the last season of Married at first sight. A few weeks ago, Ludivine married Raphaël in Gibraltar in front of her loved ones, and only a few minutes after meeting the candidate. But a big argument will eventually break out between the two newlyweds, and their romance will not recover.

Ludivine opens up about her mother’s absence

Highly criticized by Internet users for her behavior during the argument, Ludivine had defended herself by mentioning in particular her previous romantic experiences. But this Sunday, June 30, 2024, it is another past that the young woman evoked with Sam Zirah in his show In complete privacy. Indeed, Ludivine returned to the absence of her mother when she was a child. She explained in particular that she had been raised mainly by her father: “He had to face up to it, raise a little girl, not necessarily with the codes. He did what he could of course in love, but perhaps not in the demonstration of love.” she explained before adding: “As a child, I had more pressure than sharing, the emotional, affective side that a mother, for example, could give.“, she regretted. Later, the young woman explained that her mother had still been part of her life: “At some point, she reappeared in my life. And then, she was there punctually. She didn’t have custody of me, but I still went to see her.” she said.

“It’s one of my first traumas.”

Subsequently, Sam Zirah then asked Ludivine why she spoke of abandonment when she spoke of her mother. A question to which the candidate of Married at first sight responded with transparency: “Because she made choices in life that meant that I ended up with my dad, quite simply. (…) I lived with her until I was five in a very close relationship. So when it stopped, it was a bit shocking.” she explained before adding: “It’s part of my first traumas.” she concluded. Ludivine, however, wished to keep secret the reasons why her mother was absent during her childhood,”by respect” she stressed.
