the MGM series breaks this record, and it is deserved

While the series From has just been renewed for a season 4, we learn that it has broken a well-deserved record.

From: a nice record for the MGM+ series

We told you about it a few weeks ago: the horror series From deserves much more attention than it gets in . Real cardboard across the Atlantic, this American series developed by John Griffin unfortunately suffers from its French distribution : only available on Paramount+, it is only accessible via a subscription to AppleTV+, Canal+ or Prime Video. We dare to assume that if it had been distributed on Netflix, it would have had much more resonance…

Telling the story of a group of individuals who find themselves stranded in a village they cannot leave, on the edge of a forest populated by terrifying monsters after dark, the series was praised by Stephen King himself . Its keen sense of mystery and cliffhanger make it truly addictive entertainment, reminiscent of the cult series Lost by JJ Abrams and Damon Lindelofwhich made the heyday of the ABC channel.

While its season 3 ended on November 26, 2024, From has already been renewed for a fourth season, to the delight of fans. And at the same time, why deprive yourself of it? Not only does John Griffin seem to still have things to tell us, but the series is also a real triumph on the MGM+ channelowned by the Amazon group. If we do not know precisely the audiences for the series, From has officially become the most viewed series in MGM+ history.

Obviously, the MGM+ channel does not have the catalog of HBO or Netflix; However, the series From could well be the main product attracting viewers to the specialized channel. Especially since the Amazon group has many projects concerning it, starting with the broadcast of the series Spider-Man Black starring Nicolas Cage, produced in collaboration with Sony Pictures and taking place in the universe of the films Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse et Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. Also worth mentioning is a series project around the legendary British hero Robin Hood and an adaptation of the post-apocalyptic novel Ark de Stephen King.
