While the grand finale of Discussions with my parents will be broadcast this evening on TV, after seven seasons, we are told that a special episode will be on the air in December.

The public will bid farewell this evening to the Morency family, whom they have welcomed into their living room since 2018.
Here is the synopsis for tonight’s episode: “Before officially leaving rue Marie-Rollet, the parents, Jean-Pierre (Vincent Bilodeau) and Rollande (Marie-Ginette Guay), organize a last family supper where everyone will be present, and we can witness the funny and sweet farewells of the Morency clan…”
Remember that the author of the series, François Morency, recently announced in our pages that the finale will be rich in emotions: “I had an idea in mind for the last scene. I wanted us to just hear a certain song. It’s sometimes difficult to get what you want because of publishing rights. Fortunately, I got the part I wanted and I am very proud of this scene.
And to make the transition smoother, a behind-the-scenes special will allow us to see the team again on December 2. And yes, last spring, a team followed the different stages of the show’s production in order to present us behind the scenes: “Behind-the-scenes images as well as open-book interviews with the actors and other members of the team will reveal the atmosphere of humor and love reigning on this extraordinary set.”, we can read in the press release.
The final of Discussions with my parents will be broadcast this evening, November 25, from 7:30 p.m., on ICI TÉLÉ.
