Wednesday July 3 in Plus belle la vie, even more beautiful…

Patrick and Babeth plunge back into adolescence

Patrick is still in the midst of a midlife crisis. He informs Babeth that he has a hard time accepting the fact that she is aging so well, unlike him. He wonders if he should have plastic surgery to make himself look younger. Babeth is both jaded and amused by her husband’s behavior.

Later that day, Babeth sets up a strategy. To prove to him that he is still in perfect health, she makes him believe that there is an emergency at the apartment. As a result, Patrick leaves the police station and goes as quickly as possible to her home. When he arrives, Babeth tells him that it was an endurance test… which he passed with flying colors.

Patrick decides not to go back to the police station right away and settles down on the couch for a little cuddle break with Babeth. Suddenly, Jean-Paul arrives and discovers the couple naked on the couch. Jean-Paul reproaches them for behaving like teenagers.

Zoé attracts Morgane’s wrath

At the Mistral, Kilian trains Zoé as a waitress. While he explains to her how to properly hold a tray, the teenager seems elsewhere. Kilian therefore suggests that she get straight to the point and serve her first customers. They are Jules and Morgane.

Arriving at the table, Ariane’s daughter hears Jules say that he wants to pay the bill, but Morgane objects on the pretext that she works unlike him. Zoé, who is far from being a tight-lipped woman, interferes in the discussion and defends the young man. She says to Morgane: “If he wants to.”

When it’s time to pay the bill, Morgane realizes that she has lost her wallet. As a result, Jules is forced to invite her. Once the two customers have left, we discover that it was Zoé who stole the young woman’s wallet.

A few minutes later, Zoé goes to the Massalia residence to return Morgane’s wallet. The policewoman understands that it was the teenager who stole it from her, and she wasn’t amused. For her part, Zoé has a smile on her face.

Jennifer is in grave danger

Early in the morning, Pascal rummages through Jennifer’s handbag and steals her cell phone. Once the object is stolen, he turns on his phone and starts some music. It is the famous nursery rhyme for children: “An elephant, swinging…” Jennifer hears the melody, but Pascal makes her believe that it comes from her head.

Meanwhile, at the Mistral police station, Samuel still hasn’t heard from Jennifer. He wonders if his ex-girlfriend hasn’t left town by changing her identity. He’s very worried about her, especially since he’s convinced she stole an anesthetic from the office with the intention of hurting herself.

He informs Ariane and asks her to keep it a secret. For her part, the policewoman discovers that Jennifer’s phone has been restricted to the Mistral district. But where exactly is she?

To try to find out, the two police officers go to the doctor’s office. They take the opportunity to question Pascal about Jennifer. They ask him if he has any news of her, but he plays the ignorant.

Just as worried as his cousin, Gabriel decides to call Jennifer. But at the first ring, Riva, Samuel, Ariane and Pascal discover that the young woman’s phone is in the waiting room of the doctor’s office. Pascal tells the police: “She’s totally twisted.”

When Pascal returns home, he finds Jennifer panicked. The reason? She doesn’t know where her phone has gone. In addition, she informs him that she wants to get back with Samuel. In an attempt to dissuade her, Pascal tells her that Samuel wants to have her committed. Jennifer is stunned.

In the evening, Pascal serves Jennifer a herbal tea (probably with sleeping pills), and asks her if it was in a car accident that her parents died. She is both surprised and shocked that he knows about this tragedy. To justify himself, he makes her believe that she told him about it the day before, and that she also revealed that she was consumed by guilt.

Jennifer tells him that she was eight years old at the time of the accident. Against all expectations, Pascal tells her that he also lost his parents suddenly. As Jennifer falls asleep under the influence of the herbal tea, Pascal whispers in her ear: “How could I forget that you were the one who killed them, Amber?”

Once Jennifer is completely asleep, Pascal grabs a pillow to smother her. Will he follow through with his gesture? The answer will be in the next episodes of TF1’s daily show Plus belle la vie, encore plus belle.
